SafeTrak, a new biometric system from SafetyCare, is the smart way to manage safety and security within a variety of busy facilities, from nursing homes to college dorms. Each user within a facility is assigned a unique identification number. A camera captures his or her facial biometric, which is stored in an on-site database. When that user attempts to gain access to a door within the facility, an onsite camera sends the biometric image for comparison. If there is no match, access is denied.
